Turkey and dressing on Thursday.
Fast, good and full. The breakfast wrap is full of flavor, add a little Texas pete and you have a great start to the day.
Delicious vegetables. Excellent service. We will be going back!
Good and service is always wonderful. A hidden gem
The best tasting, fresh, home cooked food, lots of it, all served by wonderful, friendly people. The grits are awesome. Small and cozy, with nice decor. Off the beaten path a little and nice because of it.
Food was hot, fresh, and really good😃
Great food for a great price! Also has outdoor seating
The staff are customer oriented, the food is great and the prices are readonable!
Great mom 'n pop place to eat. Good food. Generous portions. Friendly service. Very affordable.
Normally I go here to eat breakfast and it's pretty good, so I decided to go there yesterday for dinner. Got there at about 4ish, and my family and I were the only ones in there. A lady came and got our order and our drinks and then never came back. We waited for about 40 mins to get food and they had messed up several things on our order, no big deal. It tasted ok. Not the best I've ever had but we go home and then about 4 in the morning, i woke up with food poisoning all day. If you want a good dinner go somewhere else cause I won't be back.
This place is awesome. We stopped on our way back to Knoxville because GoogleMaps listed it as on the way. We had breakfast. Biscuits are heavenly and my grits were perfect. Also, the country has was like my Mom makes. Staff was super friendly and attentive. Good prices and clean restrooms. Wish we could stick around for lunch.
Really good service and the owners Care very much about making you happy
I absolutely liked the food and service, excellent location close to my house. The staff members are always very nice. Will come back again.
Wonderful food & great service!
Very good food and good service. Very clean also
Consistently good menu options. What is great is that the owner is buying their ingredients from local farms markets... So now I know there food is going to be great all the time...💯💯💯
When I think of Cornerstone Cafe for some reason I only think of lunch but they are open for dinner as well. I'd get there early if you want the pasta because it goes fast.
Came in for lunch with my parents as I have came one other time and it was great. This time the service was absolutely horrible. Our waitress didn't come to our table for about 15 minutes after we sat down. Had to keep asking for things and the food took forever. I ordered the Greek salad and there was nothing to it. The poorest looking salad I have ever seen. Dressing had no flavor. Don't think I will recommend again.
Very friendly staff. Just a simple and quick place to get some breakfast.
Always a great place to eat...highly recommended
Good homemade cakes!
Great food and homey. Will go back again.
The friendly staff is the reason for 2 stars, otherwise it would have been 1 star. The sweet tea is well below average, as is the biscuits and gravy. Their gravy is brown, not white like most southern establishments serve. Brown doesn't go well with biscuits. The biscuits were cake like, not light and fluffy. It seemed as if they were made with a Jiffy mix. The French toast also was below average.
Great food!A very tasty hamburger steak with arguably the best mashed potatoes in the county.Side salad was smoke and fresh, and they have great pies.Good place to dine with very reasonable prices!
Great country cooking, just like Momma use to cook, best homemade desserts in WNC!
Good food excellent service
We normally like eating here but today we ordered medium rare cheeseburgers. They were well done. I couldn't even eat mine. When the waitress came with our check I told her both burgers were well done. She said she was sorry but that was it. Didn't offer to remove my burger off the check ir anything. Didn't let the cook know he or she over-cooked the burgers. Not happy with the service today at all.
Thin coffee and floury gravy on the biscuit. Rap music for breakfast is not good.
We've lived in the area for 3 years and never stopped here to eat. We stopped today and are so glad we did. The food was delicious (and plentiful), the prices were great and our waitress was fantastic. We loved the biscuits and gravy! They were proper southern prepared. We are moving away, but when we come back to visit, we'll be eating here again!
Super good home cooked food and home like feel. Staff is friendly, and fast. They are always checking on us, and refills are plentiful even when they are busy. Vegetarian options. No gluten free desserts, or breads. Affordable $34 to $40 for the 4 of us. 2 adults 2 teens.
Thursdays and Sundays amazing Turkey dinner.
Food is very good and plentiful. Haven't been able to eat dessert.
I had the country fried steak with white gravy fried okra and squash and a roll all I can say is OMG it was delicious reminded me of a place we had back home before they closed... VERY GOOD FOOD!!!
Really fun wait-staff; fabulous food...delicious, good prices outside seating option & nice setting...casual but comfy!
They were out of a lot of the food on the breakfast menu I actually wanted. The food isn’t bad but rather mediocre. The cup of gravy was a scary looking mess though. I won’t be back.
Great service! Great breakfast!
Charlotte's great food you just have to come and try it for yourself to believe it believe how good it is it's just like eating at Grandma'sThanks for all you do
Well, it wasn't awful. We waited for a minute or two before we saw anyone who looked like they worked there, and we only saw them because we took it upon ourselves to go have a seat. After about four more minutes, while we debated whether someone was going to come and take our order, or if we were expected to cook it all ourselves, someone finally walked over asked if we had been waited on. Basic fare, salad with lots of iceberg lettuce, the hamburger steak was OK, but I'm not sure what brand of can they opened to make my collard greens. It was nice of them to heat them up, though. Our waitress was very nice and kept asking if we needed anything. If going here was on our bucket list, we can surely cross that one off. It did kind of hurt knowing that Los Amigos was just a stone's throw away. We could have gone there and gotten some really good food. Now we know.
My mom and cousin loved the great burgers and today I had a wonderful soup with a perfect grilled cheese sandwich! 😁
Hot and fresh food at reasonable prices. Waitress was friendly and did a great job.
The food is good home cooking and always fresh. The ladies that handle the kitchen and the waitstaff are friendly, warm and on top of their game. Great place for Lunch and my local favorite.
Always good food and service.
Good place for meals . Friendly staff.
Had breakfast and got to say was well pleased with this cafe. Food was good and service was excellent. You want to eat here.
Kims Kornerstone Kafe was not what I was hoping for...we had breakfast there and I got hash browns and sausage. The sausage was so greasy I had to press it between several napkins to get it to where it was even a little edible. My partner in crime loved the pancakes though and he said the omelet was ok. Probably wouldn't ever return, its a shame because there is a limited amount of places to eat breakfast in Waynesville on a Monday!
Owners decided to stop serving breakfast at 10:30. I'm happy you can do without my business. Look around the community and see what other businesses close their breakfast. This may help you in your endeavor to keep potential customers coming back.
Great Food! Great service!!
One of my favorite places to eat in Waynesville! This time of year, sitting outside on the patio is a pleasant experience even at noon as the pergola provides sufficient shade to knock down the summer temps. Eating there as often and as consistently as I do, I rarely order and the wait staff just bring my "usual" order of pimiento cheeseburger on grilled sourdough and a side of sweet potato fries. One of the luxuries of small town (I guess) businesses is they remember their customers well. Be warned if you plan a quick lunch and have to get back to work, you'd better get there early or all the seats are taken.
Great food and friendly people
Great food, staff and prices. My husband and I eat here at least once a week!
